My Background

My background is as eclectic and well-rounded as my approach to therapy.


I began my career in Social Work, partnering with underserved communities and helping families build stability and resilience. Those early experiences shaped a deep respect for diversity, vulnerability, and the human spirit's capacity to heal.


After earning my undergraduate degree, I spent nearly a year backpacking through Europe and Africa. Connecting with people across cultures and perspectives reinforced something I carry into every session: a genuine belief in the power of community and belonging.


I returned home and completed graduate school with a focus on Behavioral Health and Health Studies. Over the past 25 years, I have worked across clinical and community settings, supporting clients through life transitions, relationship challenges, and complex trauma.


My private practice, founded over 20 years ago, grew naturally from that journey. It is a space where expertise, empathy, and evidence-based care come together in service of something that matters: meaningful, lasting change.

How I Can Help You

Therapy is a collaborative process. I offer a warm space where curiosity, and authenticity are welcome.   Rooted in compassion and mindfulness, I am engaged in the counseling process to better support you.

Every individual’s story is unique, so I customize each session to your goals and pace you choose. My approach integrates, Mindfulness-Based techniques, Emotional Focused Therapy(EFT), Eye Movement Desensitized & Reprocessing(EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), and other evidence-based modalities that support sustainable emotional well-being.
